In 2006 FruitFull Armenia was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to organize a satellite event within the framework of the launch of the poverty eradication programme known as “Building a Strong Armenia: one village at a time”.

Under such circumstance, FruitFull Armenia presented the actual case study of an ongoing rural development project steered by its main donors in a border area of South West Armenia to prove at which extent the benefits generated by a thoughtfully and well designed investment in agriculture can positively impact on low income and socially distressed rural communities living in the neighbourhood of a large and capital intensive farm exploitation.
