In 2007 FruitFull Armenia set up “Foodroads - Unlocking the Potential for Growth of Green Armenia” as a 3 day event to explore the opportunities and the challenges embedded in the implementation of the multi-track approach underlying in designing, planning and actioning a development strategy based upon the principles of Sustainable Agriculture in Armenia.
Invited guest speakers and prominent keynote lecturers selected in the Green Community of Armenia and the World provided to the audience a fully comprehensive review of the main critical factors of success pending on the execution of such a strategy: eg. Innovation, Capacity Building, Partnership and Access to Capital.
The event was selected by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the celebration of the World Food Day.
